Latest update of the high-risk third countries list, effective as from October

On the 7th of May, the EU announced an update of the high-risk third countries list, effective as from October 2020.
Countries that will be added to the list are:
- The Bahamas
- Barbados
- Botswana
- Cambodia
- Ghana
- Jamaica
- Mauritius
- Mongolia
- Myanmar
- Nicaragua
- Panama
- Zimbabwe
The EU plans to de-list a few countries that were previously included on the list.
Countries to be de-listed are:
- Bosnia-Herzegovina
- Guyana
- Tunisia
- Ethiopia
- Lao People’s Democratic
Republic - Sri Lanka
This delisting will take immediate effect.
